Those of you who read this know me personally, and know that Adam works for the State Department in a job that is taking him to Saudi Arabia in September for a year without me. So this coming winter, when it's time for me to go visit him, we get to meet somewhere fun in his part of the world. Now's the time when I get to start daydreaming about where.
First option: Morocco! We asked several very well-traveled people for their advice, and they all lit up and gushed about how amazing Morocco is, and how we have to go there.
This vacation will likely take place in January, so Morocco would be a sweet escape from the dreary DC winter blahs.
It would be pretty easy to fly there from DC... good food, sun, colorful markets, what's not to be excited about?
