Snow Day

It's snowing sideways in DC right now. It's absolutely beautiful. Or rather, at "feels like" 5°F with windchill, it's beautiful to watch while indoors.

Probably should have taken these inside before
winter hit and they turned into snowcones.

So this afternoon, Stefanie and I are staying in and watching movies (currently up: The Sandlot), and I'm simmering mulled wine for us to sip as the flurries drift by. And tonight, I'm making homemade pizza for dinner, one of my all-time favorites! (Recipe for that and for mulled wine to come in the next few days.)

Sigh. So pretty!

So for you east coasters, I hope you're toasty-warm and cuddled up on your couches with your sweeties (or your roommates... and some mulled wine).
